VR World, North and South America’s largest virtual reality experience facility, has announced that it accepts the meme cryptocurrency; Shiba Inu (SHIB); as a payment option on its platform. This is another significant victory for the SHIBArmy.

VR World Accepts Shiba Inu (SHIB) Using BitPay

In conjunction with the payment processor BitPay, VR World accepts Shiba Inu (SHIB)  and other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. This implies that SHIB Coin purchases will be allowed at merchants who currently accept BitPay or use digital gift cards that can be purchased using its wallet app.

BitPay, which was founded in 2011, has grown to become one of the world’s largest bitcoin payment service providers. BitPay has been integrated by several businesses to take Bitcoin and other crypto-assets as payment.

Notably, BitPay only recently began supporting Shiba Inu for retailers.

VR World is a significant player in the non-fungible token (NFT) world and even hosted the after-party for the NFT-NYC conference last month. According to Leo Tsimmer, CEO of VR World, “cryptocurrency has entered everyday life” as a result of this event.

SHIB Is On A Roll

Shiba Inu first joined the crypto market with little utility to brag about. It was nothing more than a meme currency. However, the canine-themed cryptocurrency has subsequently seen a surge in use cases in the payments system.

The payment business has embraced SHIB in large part because it enables low-cost, dependable transactions.

Shiba Inu is currently accepted by millions of shops worldwide. Flexa; a Gemini-backed digital payments business; recently informed its followers that they may now make payments utilizing SHIB across more than 40,000 stores in the United States.

Additionally, this month, blockchain-based trip booking site Travala and online electronics shop Newegg announced that they will accept SHIB as a means of payment.

Shiba Inu is trading at $0.00003238 at present with a 24-hour trading volume of $931,624,151 USD; signifying a 3.70% day-to-day loss. By market capitalization, SHIB is now the thirteenth-largest cryptocurrency in the crypto world.
